And other stories. I am stuck inside a snow globe. My size matches the miniatured scenes of the modelled towns and landscapes. Plastic and internal lights. Was it an Eat Me Alice cake? Or the profound fondness for Gregor Samsa? Here I stand, with dirty hair and hands, my nails are never cut. And the sloven I declare, not once this year did I comb this hair. Number One says: One Ibble Dibble with zero Ibble Dibbles calls no Dibble Ibble with zero Dibble Ibbles. No one to play with me. Still, in the festive spirit of Christmas, I take a long breath to shout and cheer “HURRAY! WHAT A LOAD OF SNOWBOLLOCKS!”.

Thomas Diafas creates a character who embodies various views and reactions that emerged within him and others, during 2020 and the Covid-19 pandemic. Love stories, existential anxieties, vaccinations and conspiracy theories, logic and fear through different perspectives, are interpreted simultaneously by a person who acts as a transmitter of foreign ideas, a few days before the end of a year that marked our lives for always. PS. I would like to thank my dad for exposing me to the regional TV channels and Virginia Mastrogiannaki for her valuable advice.

Post-AI Requiem For A Priest (aired on Radio Mpoukouras show)

Post-AI Requiem for a Priest is a sing-along tune inspired by newsfeed reporting the death of Greek priests by coronavirus. Phrases from these articles were used to compose lyrics that were translated in English by Google Translator. A song-producing AI was fed with the lyrics. Parameters that define the song’s style, the rhythm, and voice were chosen. The result was displeasing, lacking the desired sentimental quality. Kostis Stafylakis adopted the riff produced by the Artificial Intelligence to compose and record his version of a post-AI Requiem.
